So yeah, I realize I posted this after the fact, but HEY HERE IS MY HALF-ATTENTION-PAID SUMMARY.
- A first look at the Alad V trailer...
- DE goes over its history and reflects upon how far Warframe has come and how much it has changed - some looks at early builds, closed-beta things, etc.
- The Founders' program is ending in a few hours!
- PS4 account transfers: Everything carries over except clan membership and Dojo (for synch reasons). When builds are synched, cross-platform play is available, though it will probably not be very frequent.
- RE: Leaked mods: they are going to be altered a lot since they're not meant to be released yet, so invest in them at your own risk if you have them.
- e.g. Sprint speed aura - currently +60% sprint, stacks.
- Primed Chamber mod may make a comeback...
- Things in progress that we got a look at:
- Whip weapon - animation
- Alad pet bot
- Grineer jungle/forest
- Ruk overhaul
- Grineer polearm - looks almost like the Manticore.
- Flak cannon - charged shotgun
- Gradivus discussion:
- 8.4 million Gradivus invasions were completed
- The rewards were restructured three times because the players didn't behave as predicted - Martialis took too long, Gradivus ended too quickly, etc.
- Many people incorrectly assumed that the event was rigged toward the Grineer - they had all the good rewards in the beginning, and would continue to, but the intent was that rewards were pro-Grineer at the beginning, then would even out and eventually favor the Corpus toward the end.
- Ruk rework preview - lots of fire-based attacks, Scorch/Napalm-like
- Invasion will be returning to general gameplay - perhaps as random alerts
- 2.0 armor/damage aims to solve the problem of rainbow builds - add weaknesses and strengths for weapon types (eg ap damages armor more but does less health dmg)
- Acknowledged that Mag's Pull ability is very OP - will be tweaking.
- Concept art of dojo trade kiosk. Tradeable items are mod cards, keys, weapon/frame parts. No final products.
- Syandanas were originally made per-frame, which is why they jitter around on some frames and have clipping problems
- Codex - use a codex scanner in your gear to scan a target
- Rework of tutorial - giving you your first mods, explaining wallrunning. Overall making early game easier to transition to harder levels for newer players.
- More concept art for Shipyard, Infested Fomorian, Grineer Jungle
